This pendant features a greyish lavender jadeite that has been hand carved to feature the mythical nine tail fox. The nine-tailed fox is a mythical creature originating in ancient Chinese folklore that spread across East Asia, including Japan where it is called Kitsune and Korea where it is called Gumiho. It is a powerful spirit often depicted as a shapeshifter, frequently taking the form of a beautiful woman to deceive humans.
It is set onto an adjustable 26" nylon cord with jadeite and carnelian accent beads.
