The reddish-pink hue of Strawberry Quartz is caused by the presence of iron oxide or goethite within the crystal structure. This inclusion gives the stone its distinctive appearance and is responsible for its name, which references the color resemblance to strawberries. It's also common for it to have specs of mica and can also be found with green colorations.
