Collection: Moonstone

This collection features the flashy beauty of all types of moonstone! Moonstone is a type of feldspar mineral, a sodium potassium aluminum silicate, known for its distinctive, pearly, or opalescent glow called adularescence. This effect occurs when light reflects off alternating microscopic layers of two different feldspar minerals, orthoclase and albite, giving the stone a beautiful, shimmering, and "moonlight-like" appearance. Found in various colors including white, gray, peach, and black, the most prized moonstones display a blue or silvery sheen.

This collection also features "rainbow moonstone" which is actually labradorite; however, since most people know white labradorite as moonstone, they found their way here. 😀
