Indonesian Sumatra amber is a 23–30 million-year-old fossilized resin, famously known for producing rare blue amber that fluoresces under UV Light. It's primarily sourced from Sumatra's coal deposits, this material ranges in color from yellow to deep blue. It is highly prized for its unique optical properties caused by, among other things, the hydrocarbon perylene.
