Copper rutilated quartz is a transparent, naturally formed quartz crystal that contains delicate, needle-like inclusions of the mineral rutile. These metallic, hair-like strands display a coppery-red or reddish-brown hue—colored by trace amounts of iron—creating the striking illusion of suspended copper wire trapped inside the stone.
