Larimar is an extremely rare, natural blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite. It is found in only one place on Earth: the mountainous Barahona region of the Dominican Republic. Its unique sky-to-deep-blue coloring, mixed with white cloud-like swirls, perfectly mimics the aesthetic of the Caribbean.
