Carnelian

Carnelian is a semi-precious stone and a variety of chalcedony quartz. It's known for its vibrant colors, which range from yellow to orange to red and reddish-brown, and its smooth, waxy texture. Carnelian's color comes from iron oxide, and stones can be heated to increase the saturation of their color.
