Emerald

An emerald is a rare, bluish-green to green gemstone that's a variety of the mineral beryl. Emeralds are formed when magma comes into contact with sedimentary rocks, and are found in places like Colombia, Brazil, Afghanistan, and Zambia.
Emeralds get their green color from trace amounts of chromium or vanadium.
